Animal Based Matcha Latte
Intro
This animal based matcha latte has become one of my favorite little daily rituals.
It’s simple, nourishing, and honestly just tastes amazing.
Real milk, good matcha, a little honey, and a pinch of sea salt. That’s it.
Nothing fancy. Just real ingredients that actually make you feel good.
Ingredients
• 1 tsp high quality matcha powder
• 2 oz hot water
• 8 to 12 oz raw milk or A2 milk
• 1 to 2 tsp Manuka honey (adjust to taste)
• Pinch of high quality sea salt
• Pinch of cinnamon
• Splash of vanilla (optional)
How to Make It
Add matcha, honey, sea salt, cinnamon, and vanilla to a mug.
Pour in 2 oz hot water and whisk until smooth and fully dissolved.
For a warm latte, add warmed milk and stir or froth.
For an iced latte, pour the matcha mixture over iced milk and stir.
Enjoy warm or iced.
Optional Additions
Sometimes I’ll add a little extra depending on the day.
• Collagen for extra protein
• Butter or a splash of heavy cream for richness and satiety
Totally optional. The base recipe is perfect on its own.
Why I Love It
This is one of those drinks that just feels supportive.
It’s gentle energy from matcha, balanced with real milk, a little natural sweetness, and minerals from sea salt.
Simple ingredients. Real nourishment.
And a drink I actually look forward to making.
A Small Tip
If you’re new to matcha, invest in a good quality powder. It makes a huge difference in both taste and texture.
Ceremonial grade matcha will give you that smooth, vibrant green latte instead of something bitter.
